Life has its unique ways of teaching those who are not wise enough to perceive things the way they are instead of what they should be, for their own emotional comfort. It seemed like a big deal at that time but it was just a reality check I was faced with. I learned to stop being pathetic, being at somebody else’s mercy.
It’s not easy to decide which things to keep and which ones to let go. Then there are certain habits everybody has that they should let go off sooner than later to find some relief and inner happiness.
Without us realizing about it, we give people around us a hard time by just bragging about our goodness and selflessness.
