One day, we sort of overdid it and were way too late before we could reach home. It was already dark and there was no way that our parents would believe that we studied for so long. I reached home at about 8 o’clock and my parents asked the obvious question as soon as they saw my face.
Instinctively I looked to my right and noticed that a small schoolgirl of about 7-8 years of age was standing by my side, probably waiting for the bus or something. She looked worried and puzzled but I ignored her and started to look at the building I was to enter in about 25 minutes. Suddenly I felt somebody touch my hand.
